How disaster-prone are Hawaii and the Philippines?

The aim is to use the disaster risk equation to compare how risky life is in the Philippines and Hawaii.

You will need to research hazards and disaster events that have occurred in Hawaii and the Philippines, to decide on how hazardous the country is, how vulnerable the populations are, and their capacity to cope with natural disasters.

The idea is to produce an interactive powerpoint (instructions attached) or a Google Earth summary (instructions attached).

A version of the Hawaii hazard map you made in QGIS is included below, for you to use in the Google Earth summary.
