The Medina in Marrakech is a World Heritage site, this link to the UNESCO website provides details of its inscription and the threats it faces.
The Toubkhal National Park website is in French, but viewing it though Google Translate you can learn about its history, wildlife and people. You need to click on the 'Presentation of the Park' tab on the left.
